The town of Flint is situated on the Dee estuary, in the North of Flintshire within North East Wales. There is a population of nearly 13000 people and is considered the 3rd largest town in Flintshire. One of the most striking images of Flint is the castle which sits on the shoreline of the River Dee. The castle attracts many vistors to the town.

The town has a number of shops, supermarkets and local facilities all within walking distance. There is a strong community ties, with many clubs, societies and activities. The community is served by a number of primary and secondary schools.

The town of Flint has a number of council and housing association homes, however, there can be a lengthy waiting list for properties. There are a number of private rented homes available in Flint area which are affordable.
