Connah's Quay is the largest town in Flintshire and has a population of around 17500 people. The town is set on the banks of the Dee Estuary, in the north of the county.

There is a growing and thriving community with a number of shops, supermarkets, services and facilities. A number of primary and secondary schools serve the area Deeside college is a further education centre which serves Flintshire, which is based in the town. The town has good transport and network links with the region and easy access to the North West. Connah's Quay is situated close to the region's industrial centre, Deeside Industrial Park.

There has been some large housing developments in the town in the last few years and this has created a considerable growth. The local authority and housing associations have a number of properties in the town, but the waiting list can be lengthy at times. There are a number of opportunities with private rented accommodation in this area and the prices can be affordable and within means.
