Caergwrle and Abermorddu are two villages, close to Flintshire / Wrexham border. The population for the two villages is just under 1700 people. Caergwrle is well known for its castle which overlooks the village.
There are a few local shops in both villages, pubs, take aways, some services and a local school. There is a secondary school in Hope, which serves the two villages. The transport links are good in Caergwrle and Abermorddu, as there is a train station that serves the two villages and this can pick up the line to Liverpool.
