Caergwrle and Abermorddu are two villages, close to Flintshire / Wrexham border. The population for the two villages is just under 1700 people. Caergwrle is well known for its castle which overlooks the village.

There are a few local shops in both villages, pubs, take aways, some services and a local school. There is a secondary school in Hope, which serves the two villages. The transport links are good in Caergwrle and Abermorddu, as there is a train station that serves the two villages and this can pick up the line to Liverpool.

There is limited council and housing association property in this area and is usually in high demand. From time to time, there can be good quality private rented accommodation at an affordable price.
